Can't get no.. Satisfaction..

It's been a while since I've posted. I've kind of been on an evaluation mission.. scoping out how common folk feel about Christianity and what is going on as a community. We have a nation of people that are growing more and more hatred toward the pompous and erogant Christian far right, who make it known that their way is the only way to salvation, and you have to follow the rules in order to keep yourself from the burning eternity of hell. People are being forced to renounce their faith.. they are being told that they must not go see movies, or drink a beer, or go out with friends - it all leads to damnation. The Christian TV crapvangelists haven't changed at all - they keep singing the same stupid songs, with their hair and hairspray bill ever increasing, and work on the weak minded.. lulling them into an emotional state to make their will buckle like a house of cards. Jesus never did this. And for those reading this who haven't yet made a decision about Christ and following His way, let me explain that the Christian church is so messed up right now it's best to follow your heart.. believe in Jesus Christ and study your bible on your own rather than get pulled into the ever increasing b.s. of corporate faith. Don't buy into the hype of large corporate churches, big name preachers, christian music stations, or the like. It has nothing to do with faith. Faith is what happens in your heart. Believe in Jesus Christ, that He was, and Is the son of God. That He died for the sins of the world. For yours, mine, and even for these goobers preaching a twisted truth. I hope someday we can cut through the fluff of churches and get back to the basics. Until then, we're on our own.. Stand on your own two feet and believe with your whole heart.
