The Living Water
MMM.. Living Water
Alot of people don't like the taste of water. Which is kinda funny to me, since pure water has no taste. It's cool, refreshing, and yet without any taste to it they won't drink it. They will take the water and make cool-aid with it, or iced tea. They will mix a little water in the concentrated orange juice, or they will forget the water entirely and get a 2 litre Dr.Pepper or Coke at the store. Funny thing is, if those same people were stranded in the desert fighting for their lives, trapped in a place where water was not in abundance - then that dull plain water would taste sooo good to us. Jesus is like that. He said that we as believers would receive 'living water' to drink, and never thirst again. But we tend to color the water to suit us, stir in enough sugar to make it taste so much better, and easier to swallow. But if we were in a position where we had nothing but the living water to rely on, not only would we crave it, but it would taste good just the way it is. Something to consider.
