Urgency

A sense of urgency... that feeling when you just know something is about to snap, but you can't tell what it is, or from what direction. This is my feeling right now. Something that drives me to tell my readers it's time to wake up and stop the fluffy gospel worship. We don't have time for it anymore. Now, I'm no prophet of doom or hell-fire n' brimstone preacher. We live under time limits here. And playing church isn't going to get you in touch with God any faster. Quiet, reverent, personal worship will. We don' thave time for the games people play in churches and we need to take our eyes off mankinds petty excuse for religion and turn our hearts and minds toward the true God. When you do, playing church won't matter. Wearing your new suit on Sunday won't matter. Cracking open a fat wallet for the tithe plate won't matter. Shaking the preachers hand and taking him to lunch won't matter. Only a personal revelation of God in your life will be able to quench the firey passion for all things spiritual. No time for games. Let's get it together...
