What to Write

What to Write now?

It's been a while since my last post. I usually await some kind of 'revelation' to inspire my rantings. Writing about the tv evangelist corporate church is getting old even to me, so I waited for insight and it appeared to me clearly today. The internet (where we camp out surfing even now) is causing the greatest threat to our faith in human history. Page upon page i've surfed, and with each day of study, the word of God or better yet the truth becomes twisted into something other than what it was in the beginning. The church through history twisted the gospel of our Lord to suit them, now it's being discontinued for better writings by scholars who know so much more than Jesus did apparently. Writings which have been proven to be false are corrupting the core truth of Christianity and what it means to follow the Son of God. So I put this before you... trust no one. The truth ISN'T out there. It's within you. We have a million versions of the bible, a million churches on a million street corners, and a million web pages all promoting a version of what they believe to be the truth. None of it can be trusted any longer.
You just have to believe within yourself and don't allow anyone but the Holy Spirit to teach you what you need to know.
